U.S. History/World History for Wednesday/Thursday August 26/27

I enjoyed going over the Course Requirement sheet with you. I'm looking forward to working with all of you. Remember, we have the SAME goal: your success in this class!

If you were absent, here's what you need to do:
  1. Print out the Course Requirements and Behavior Contract. Fill out the bottom portion, have your parent/guardian sign it and date it, tear it off and turn it in to on Friday (odd period classes) or Monday (even period classes).
  2. Get a student planner so that you can stay organized!

U.S. History & World History Mon/Tues Aug. 24/25

It was nice meeting all of you over the past couple of days. I'm excited about our brand new school year and am looking forward to making this the GREATEST YEAR OF OUR LIVES!

Here is what we covered in case you were absent:
  • The Autograph Game (no need to make this up if you were absent)
  • Getting to Know You worksheet. Click on it and you'll be taken to Google Documents where the worksheet is located. Print it out and complete it.
Coming up next class, we will be discussing how students can be successful in this class. This discussion will cover course requirements, class policies, when to get help from me, and other tips that will put you on the road to success. We will also have our first assignment; this is your chance to start the class with an "A."

In addition, as I mentioned in class, you can earn extra credit by bringing in
  • hand sanitizer (the larger bottles)
  • disinfectant wipes
  • kleenex
Extra credit to start the school year off--nothing's better than that.
