Upfront Magazine by the New York Times

In U.S. History, we've been using past issues of a great magazine for teens called Upfront.  It's edited by the New York Times and published by Scholastic.  The magazine has great current event articles that are relevant to teenagers' lives as well as some concise, photo-rich articles on major historical events that we cover in class.
But the feature that I love most about the Upfront website is the Scholastic Word Wizard.  It's a tool that makes it incredibly easy to look up any word on the page.  Often, students struggle most with comprehension of words that they don't know.  This Word Wizard eliminates that problem.  Check it out by going to the Upfront website link above.
