Remember the guidelines I laid out in yesterday's posting: skip the green Sources from the Past section, but do read and study the maps you come across. And while there aren't questions that go along with tonight's reading, you will be responsible for knowing the material in our class discussion/lecture as well as the upcoming quiz.

Also, as I said in yesterday's posting, you may want to start by reading the summary at the end of the chapter (pg. 56) to get an overview of what the chapter will be talking about.
