In world history today, students completed a questionnaire called Getting to Know You.  Print it out, complete it, and turn it in if you were absent.

In APWH, we discussed the questions from the chapter 1 reading then I lectured on some key points in chapter 1.  Copy the notes from a classmate if you were absent.  The reading for chapter 2 is pp. 31-41, 53-56.  The questions are:

• Explain the political aspects (government's role) in Sumerian city-states.
• What were some of the economic effects of specialized labor?
