WORLD HISTORY

• reviewed WWII and Cold War
• to prep for the STAR test, here are some topics that we didn't get a change to fully cover:
• pg. 612-613 Mikhail Gorbachev, glasnost, perestroika, were the main reasons behind the collapse of the Soviet Union.
• pg. 618-621 Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and Poland were among the first countries where communism fell.  Read those pages to understand what happened.
• pg. 584 read just the first 2 paragraphs to find out how Israel was created after WWII
