• Notes and discussion on chapter 1.  If you were absent, be sure to copy the notes from a classmate.
• Chapter 2 homework: 
• Study pp. 31-41 and 53-56
• Explain the political aspects (government's role) of Sumerian city-states.
• What were some of the economic effects of specialized labor?
• Each question should be answered in a 5-6 sentence paragraph.  Due Wednesday.
