World History for Wednesday & Thursday, October 27 and 28

• Period 4 ONLY: 
• Essay rough draft due.  If you were absent, make sure you show me your rough draft when you return so that I can give you credit for it.  Right now, you have a zero.  We then did peer evaluations on the rough draft.  Use this evaluation sheet to check your own paper.
• We then played the Scramble for Africa game as an introduction to imperialism.
• We began to fill out the symbols for the Motives for Imperialism sheet.

• Periods 1 & 6 ONLY:
• Played the vocabulary game for the key terms in our imperialism unit.  Be sure to copy those terms from a classmate.
• Students then did numbers 1, 4, 5, & 6 on the Imperialism in Nigeria Case Study worksheet.  Turn that in on Friday, October 29th.
• After that, we continued with the Motives for Imperialism chart with our partner(s).
