2. Watched a very brief video from my own travels that shows the balcony where Mussolini would address many of the citizens of Rome.  See below.

Period 4 AP World History for Monday, September 19

• Lectured on Rome, pp. 259-265
• Here's the map of Rome's expansion that I showed in class (don't forget about the trade route ship button down below!)
• Continued work on the Buddhism/Hinduism/Jainism charts.

Periods 2 & 6 World History for Tuesday, August 30

Today we had notes on democracy.  It was a very important lesson because democracy will be the central theme that we'll build on for the rest of the school year.  We talked about democracy's roots in Greece and Rome.  Be sure to copy the notes from a friend. Recently in World History we looked at the republic that was established by Rome and learned about its influence on other countries, including the United States.  Because of that, I thought I'd share some pictures of my trip to Rome from this past March/April.  Grazie!
